Request an Integration
Request a New Integration
One of our goals is to add meaningful, valuable new integrations so merchants can expand their ecommerce network through Order Desk. To request an integration that we don’t currently support, please fill out this form to the best of your ability.
Every request will receive a response as soon as the review process is completed, which can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months depending on request volume.
Note: Our support team does not have insight into the status of integration requests.
Thanks for taking the time to fill this out. We’re excited to see your ideas!
FAQ
While there is no charge for requesting a new integration, we do charge a small development fee if the decision is made to build one. We will share that information with you if your request is approved so you can decide whether to move forward or not.
When reviewing new integrations requests, we gauge our own customers’ interest as part of our decision. If our customers are interested in an integration to your service, the request is more likely to be approved, whether or not you use Order Desk directly.
If you and your customers do not already use Order Desk, your request is less likely to be approved as the demand doesn’t exist yet. In this case, you or your customers can begin to use Order Desk’s native features in place of an integration to begin showing that demand. Please see “My integration request wasn’t approved. What are my options?” for more information.
We receive several requests a week, and we review each one thoroughly. Please be aware that this technical review process does take some time, anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, but we will respond to every request. Your patience is appreciated while we take your request into consideration.
We receive several requests per week, but we only build about 50 new integrations per year. This means not every request will be approved, but don’t worry—there are several ways your business can use Order Desk’s native features to mimic an integration.
To send or receive data through Order Desk, you can use import and export templates, which are customizable and can be automated to run on a schedule. These work for orders, inventory, and shipments, and function similarly to an integration.
If you are a fulfillment or print provider who needs to receive orders from your customers, you can manage multiple stores and copy orders into your main store for fulfillment purposes.
Please contact our support team so we can help you create a custom workflow for your business.
We can only build integrations to services that have a public API.
Services that we typically exclude include ones with private APIs and EDI connections.
Even though services without public APIs will not be accepted at this time, please still submit a request so that we can gauge interest in your requested service.
